How to Set Up a Transfer Preset in VICIdial

This tutorial covers how to set up a campaign’s transfer preset in VICIdial.
A transfer preset is useful when you need to add more than five transfer numbers,
or when you need to assign a name code to each of your transfer numbers so agents
can identify them quickly in the agent interface.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to your VICIdial admin dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Campaigns.
  3. Select Campaigns Main.
  4. Click Modify on the campaign you want to configure.
  5. Locate the Transfer Preset field and set it to Enable.
  6. Save your changes.
  7. Next, go to the Preset submenu in the left-hand navigation.
  8. Click Modify next to the campaign for which you just enabled the transfer preset.
  9. In the Preset Name field, enter the name you want to assign to this
    transfer number. This name will appear in the agent interface when agents click the
    preset button, so choose something descriptive.
  10. Enter the 10-digit transfer phone number in the Number field.
  11. If required, enter any DTMF tones in the DTMF field.
  12. Use the Hide Number field if you want to conceal the transfer phone
    number from agents in the interface.
  13. Click Submit to save the preset.
