Guide to Setting Up an Outbound Destination in the Cloud Phone System
Setting up an outbound destination in the Cloud Phone System lets you forward calls to a third-party phone number, a feature that’s incredibly beneficial for businesses that need to route calls to various locations or individuals. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
Navigate to Dialplans
First, go to Dialplans, then select Destination.
Access Outbound Settings
Click the Outbound button. If you’ve recently acquired a phone number and set up call forwarding, this is where you’ll find the third-party phone number.
Add a New Outbound Destination
Click the “Add Plus” button to add a new outbound destination. If you can’t find the add button, please reach out to our customer support team for help.
Fill in the Required Fields
You’ll need to fill out three fields:
- Add ‘1’ for the country code.
- Enter your 10-digit number under “Destination”.
- You can also add details under “Description”, especially useful if you’re managing multiple outbound numbers.
Save Your Settings
Click Save to finalize the setup.
